| Annual General Meeting – 11.00 a.m. Saturday 28th April 2018 at the Citrus Hotel, A45 London Road, Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry, CV8 3DY. |
| In compliance with the Club Constitution the Committee has called the AGM for the above date and time. As a Member you are cordially invited. I wrote to you some time ago giving you advance notification to allow you the opportunity to be involved at the earliest possible date. I now write to you advising of the availability of all the papers required for the meeting. All the papers are also available on the owners’ website https://www.losclavelesowners.eu If you have any problems please contact a Committee Member and they will help you – contact details are available on the owners’ website previously notified to you. You will be aware that since the Club took the decision to dispense with the services of a Management Company that there have been problems in obtaining control of the Club Membership Register and Property, including money. Inorder to resolve these issues in a timely and less expensive way the matters were placed with an Arbiter based in Scotland. Progress has not been as speedy as we would have expected, however the arbitration case and WimPen’s appeal have both been concluded with WimPen losing their Appeal. If WimPen continue to ignore the Scottish Courts we may have to enforce the decisions in a Spanish Court. More information will be available at the meeting. It is my opinion, that we are on the verge of the Club (this is you) having the best and most prosperous resort in Tenerife. In order for my prediction to come true your involvement is crucial. If you cannot attend the meeting then please complete and return the Attendance/Proxy Form. Your vote will then be counted. Your Attendance/Proxy Form must be returned by post to: The Chairman, Club Los Claveles, 98 Bleak Hill Road, Erdington, Birmingham, B23 7BT. UK. or by email to: chairman-proxy@losclavelesowners.eu. The form must reach the above address 48 hours prior to the meeting, i.e. by 11am on Thursday 26th April 2018. Any form not dealt with in this way cannot be counted. Your Committee and a small army of Club Member volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure that you, the Owners, have the maximum control of your resort. By your participation in this meeting you are supporting those people who are looking after your interests. I look forward to your involvement.
