Club Los Claveles is a not-for-profit private limited company, collectively, owned by private members of the general public. These owners bought into the resort in order to gain access to a consistent, high quality holiday destination (which they could truly call “a home from home”) whilst avoiding the lottery of ‘package holidays’ – these owners, generally, returning to the resort year after year.
Being a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation means that all proceeds from its operations are re-invested back into the resort to build and maintain it to the highest possible standard at affordable prices.
The resort is lead by a democratically elected volunteer Committee (drawn from amongst the owners) supported by a professional management team. As regular users of the resort, members of the Committee obtain ‘first hand’ exposure to the “guest experience” which they use in combination with monitoring the wishes and comments from the Club’s owners/guests; in order to set overall policy and ensure that the facilities and day-to-day operations conform to the standards required by our guests.
